I personal like the fuji's I started with the fuji 2600 zoom it is a great point and shoot camera and I also like the macro on it great beginners camera,it only has a 2 million pixel range only downside at the moment it take SM smart media cards mostly new cameras have compact flash,XD,SD memory cards.My other camera is a fuji finepix S3000 it has a 3.2 million effective pixels the zoom is 6x optical and 3.2 digital takes movie without sound and can be used for internet conferencing I have got a telephoto lens and a wide angle lens for this camera this also takes an XD card,I have recently purchased my third fuji digital which is the Fuji finepix S6500FD slowly working my way up to the full SLR camera.
